The 39th Freds Pass Rural Show will see us “Celebrating Rural Life” and everything great about living in the rural area. Can you believe that a small event that commenced as a school fete in 1978 will celebrate a major milestone of 40 years in 2019.

The Paddock to Plate marquee will be a key feature of the Show in 2018 and will feature leading Chefs such as Zac Green (Kakadu Taste) and Betty Banks (runner-up of MKR 2016). Paddock to Plate will also feature a My School Rules competition with Principals from Government Schools within the Rural Area and surrounds participating in this competition.

The entertainment line-up in 2018 will include Mark Seymour (Hunters and Collectors Fame) who will feature the best of H&C as well as some new materials. The line-up will also feature Ash Grunweld, a blues and roots artist who also presented on Triple J for the Roots and All Show. Ash is a large one man act with a big sound. Burger Joint, a two-piece party band, will also rock the show on Saturday. There is also a lot of local talent which will be featured on the Saturday. Sunday will feature Jazz on the Grass with “Hot n’ Cold Band and local talent.
