Program

Your 2019 Freds Pass Rural Show Entries are Now LIVE! The 2019 program will be out late March and will see us “Celebrating 40 Years” and everything great about living in the rural area. Can you believe that a small event that commenced as a school fete in 1978 will celebrate a major milestone of 40 years this year!

Friday night kicks off with the 50km Feast dinner for 160 people, partnered with Litchfield Council & NT Government for the very first time. Tickets available online now. The Paddock to Plate marquee will be a key feature of the Show in 2019 and will promote leading Chefs such as Jimmy Shu, Lynton Tapp, Rachael Ciesiolka, Betty Banks(MKR). Paddock to Plate will provide amazing food & cooking demonstrations that will leave your tastebuds talking!

This years entertainment line up is one fitting the occasion of a 40th celebration, headlined by true blue Aussie fave Shannon Noll! Nollsie has become a legend, a meme, an everyday hero and a county boy who stands by his word and convictions.  His rise to fame as the first runner-up of the first Australian Idol series in 2003 changed his life from farm hand in Condobolin forever. Our own Music Talent Quests at your Freds Pass Rural Show could be the start of something extraordinary for our own local musicians! Book your spot today!  Local musicians playing their original songs will provide us with ongoing entertainment at the main stage before Micks Whips will whipcrack us straight into the fireworks at 8pm Saturday night!

The great Woodchopping Exhibition continues, then One Mob Dance Crew will start the big Woodchop Auction for Gavin Howie- dig deep and support one of our very own local, rural farmers after the horrific accident in January that nearly claimed his life.
